DUDLEY JOHN KINGSNORTH

NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Dudley Kingsnorth was appointed to the Board on 20 April 2007. Mr Kingsnorth has over 30 years experience in the international mining industry through positions that he has held in operations, project development, marketing, technical consultancy and business development. Mr Kingsnorth has an Honour‘s Degree in Metallurgy and a Masters Degree in Metallurgy and Business studies. During his career he has worked in a broad range of commodities including gold, rare earths, lithium, tantalum, alumina, uranium and iron ore. He has held senior positions with Rio Tinto, Ashton Mining, Alcoa and Bechtel.

Mr Kingsnorth is recognised for his conceptual and strategic capabilities in the early development of resource companies. He was the founding CEO of Crescent Gold Ltd and the Materials Institute of Western Australia and also served as the founding non-executive chairman of Essa Australia Ltd (2004-06), as a non executive director of Helix Resources NL and of Acclaim Uranium NL. Mr Kingsnorth is a former Vice-President of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. In 1988 he was the recipient of the CWAI Exporter of the Year Award.

MATTHEW JOHN COLLARD

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Qualifications: B.AgEc, SDSS (Oxon)

Matthew Collard was appointed to the Board as non-executive director on 3 November 2005. Since Mr Collard‘s appointment Amex Resources has undertaken significant restructuring in preparation to obtain admission to ASX. Mr Collard was appointed by the Board on 4 June 2007 as Managing Director to build Amex Resources into a successful Western Australian exploration company.

Mr Collard is a graduate of Agriculture Economics from Sydney University with postgraduate qualifications from Oxford University. Mr Collard has over 8 years experience in capital raising and financial markets working in London, Sydney and Perth. Mr Collard has specialised in the development, marketing and issuing of debt and equity investment products and held the position of Responsible Officer for Questus Funds Management Limited.

Mr Collard is also a director and company secretary of Teakdale.

NICHOLAS GERARD REVELL

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (GEOLOGIST)

Qualifications: B.AppSc, MAusIMM

Nicholas Revell was appointed to the Board on 20 April 2007. Mr Revell is a consulting geologist with more than 20 years experience, specialising in mine geology and grassroots exploration. Mr. Revell is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Mr Revell is also acting as a director and consultant to Macarthur Minerals Ltd, where he is supervising the drilling of a major magnetite deposit located in the same region as a number of Amex Resources‘ Tenements. Mr Revell is also a director of Teakdale and brings to the Board valuable experience in mine production and exploration.

Yibo Qiu (Non-Executive Director)

Qualifications: B.Ec, M.Acc

Yibo Qiu was appointed by the Board on 20 September 2007. Mr Qiu brings to the Company significant corporate experience based on his debt & equity capital raising throughout Jiangsu province in China. Mr Qiu also liaises with multiple steel manufacturing companies within the Sizhou district.
