EXPLORATION PROGRAMME

Summary

Exploration Programme

Amex Resources has ownership of 8 exploration Projects in Western Australia with mineral diversity including gold, copper, iron ore and nickel.

The initial focus of cash resources and geological expertise has concentrated on 4 specific Projects. The selection of these Projects has been based upon recent field work and geophysical studies, combined with the Board’s objective of identifying a copper-gold resource to support a minimum 3-5 year mining operation within 2 years of listing.

The Projects below represent the initial exploration focus and updated information will be listed as works are completed.

Ada Ann – Gold

The Ada Ann project is located approximately 15km north of the town of Coolgardie and is interpreted as being within the Kunanalling Shear Zone envelope. The Company has been compiling data from previous auger, RAB and RC programs and is now in the process of organising an RC drilling program anticipated to be completed by March 2008.

Previous exploration works recorded 150 tonnes of near surface material treated at the Kintore Mill in Coolgardie, with gold recovery of 7g/t.

JJ’s Project – Gold

JJ’s Project is rare in the sense that it is the only other site outside Kalgoorlie’s Golden Mile where auriferous tellurides have been found within Australia.

Previous chip samples taken in 2005 and the first quarter of 2007 returned encouraging assays up to 338 g/t and 191 g/t respectively.

In September 2007 a first pass drilling program was completed consisting of 16 holes totaling 886m. The program was limited due to access restrictions and consequently the Belle View to Off Chance Strike of approximately 1km was not drilled. In November 2007 the Company applied for the Prospecting Licence P46/1624 which covers an additional 178 hectares to the north of the current tenement and will provide more opportunities for future drilling programs.

Breakaway Dam – Copper

The Breakaway Dam Project is located 18km east of the town of Menzies in the Eastern Goldfields Province of WA covering an area of approximately 54km2.

In November 2007 a first pass RC drilling program was completed consisting of 7 holes totaling 342m. The shallow drilling program was focused on visible shear-hosted mineralisation close to a near surface anomaly identified by the Electro Magnetic (EM) survey in September 2007.

The program successfully identified a base metal mineralised system as represented in figures 1 & 2 with assays confirming copper mineralisation in the oxidized shear zone. The intervals ranged from 12m at 0.14% (1400 ppm) Cu to 2m at 1.05% (10480) and were associated with elevated silver, bismuth, lead, tin, tungsten and zinc levels.

The Company is currently incorporating further geophysical data into the original interpretation before undertaking a drilling program over the deeper conductive feature open to the north-west identified by the EM survey in September 2007.

Figure 2

Building on the channel sampling program the Company completed an Electro Magnetic (EM) survey. The survey identified a conductive feature that had been modelled on an area approximately 400-500m long and 100-150m wide. The target has an intersection depth of 150-160m with a recommended end of hole of 200m.

The survey results are shown by the mapping in Appendix A with the channel 10 image reflecting the near surface geology and channel 30 image highlighting the deeper conductive features that run to the north-west.

Woodline Well – Gold

The wooldine Well Project is located 40km north of the town of Menzies covering an area of approximately 184km2.

In November 2007 an RC drilling program consisting of 8 holes totaling 598m was completed. The program was designed to validate gold results from previous RAB drilling programs and identify mineralisation at depth.

The results from the drilling program have been encouraging with the following intersections recorded below;

Hole ID Nth Easting Interval From To Au ppm
WRC01 6755252 314668 12 43 55 0.84
WRC03 6755313 314670 28 32 60 0.86
WRC04 6755307 314648 24 24 48 0.51
WRC06 6755365 314655 24 36 60 0.39

The results from the drilling program have supported the initial interpretation that the gold mineralisation appears to be steeply dipping and potentially plunging to the north. The combination of previous RAB assays and the latest RC results suggests the occurance of two zones "eastern and western" with the higher grades (ie: Holes WRC01 & WRC03) located in the eastern zone.

Based on the results of the validation drilling the Company is currently preparing data to carry out an extension RC drilling program.
